Hatha Yoga uses physical poses or Asana, Breathing Techniques or Pranayama, and Meditation to achieve better health, better connection to your body and mind

There are many styles within this path - Iyengar, Yin, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, to name a few.


Hatha  translated as "Ha" meaning sun  and "Tha" meaning moon.
Hatha Yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, fascia,muscles, and bones.

The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely.

In our physical bodies, we develop a balance of strength and flexibility. We also learn to balance our effort and surrender in each pose.

Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation.

It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in each moment.

Our total personality is guided by the way we breathe.


Breathing has a direct relationship with a functioning mind.


Hatha Yoga Pradipika declares it very clearly: "cale vate cala cittam..."












Find a balance between effort and relaxation in a class that combines the strength of held postures and the serenity of breath-directed movement. Classes are based on the fluid movements of the sun salutation and other breath-directed movements.

Traditional asanas are held in accurate alignment. Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility, and balance as well as concentration and breath control. This class is based on physical postures (asanas), deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body;

Haha Yoga is for Everyone however, you beginner, intermediate or advanced practitioners.
